In April 2010 the first and second years students from our graphic design department went to Toulouse (France).
Down south we were invited to Axe Sud, a graphic design school, to meet the staff and the students. A simple meeting wasn´t sufficient so we asked our students to work on a common brief: “present Norway”.
Our first year students worked in groups and delivered 10 posters. The second years French students worked alone and delivered 21 posters.
During our visit we had a common presentation followed by an open discussion about the project and the posters.
Westerdals and Axe Sud are now working together on a second join project and we´ve started an active partnership in order to increase the level of our studies by generating cultural exchanges.
